Aadya Ranganath won the Silver medal and Aadya Gowda won the Bronze medal in Western Asia Under 10 Girls Classical Chess Championship 2023 held at Kyrgyzstan.
A total of 19 players from Asian countries participated in the championship. Aadya Ranganath was 6th seed and Aadya Gowda was 10th seed.
Aadya Ranganath lost to Vedika Pal of India in the 3rd round and drew with Aadya Gowda in the 8th round and won with all other opponents. She scored seven and half points out of nine rounds to win the silver medal.
Aadya Gowda lost to Vedika Pal in the 1st round, lost to Smirnova Oksana in the 4th round and drew with Aadya Ranganath in the 8th round. She scored six and half points out of nine rounds to win the bronze medal.
