Pratitee Bordoloi of Karnataka scored 9.5 points and won the National Under 11 Girls Chess Championship and received cash prize of Rs 80,000 and a glittering Trophy. Siddhi Rao of Karnataka scored 9 points and clinched Runner up prize.

36th National Under11 Open Chess Championship and 36th National under 11 Girls Chess Championship held at Visakhapatnam, Andhra from 1st to 7th October 2023 for a Prize fund of Rs 8 Lakhs.
This prestigious National Chess Championship with Eleven round Swiss format was organized very well by Andhra Chess Association under the aegis All India Chess Federation & FIDE. The venue of the tournament was Rajiv Gandhi A/c Indoor auditorium, Visakhapatnam.
The mega National event attracted 385 participants in Open section and 194 players in Girls section. Players from 27 States from all over India i.e., Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Goa,Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkand, Karnataka, Kerala, MadhyaPradesh, Maharastra, Odissa, Puduchery, Punjab, Rajastan, Tamilnadu, Telungana, Tripura,UttarPradesh, Utharkand, and West Bengal took part in this event.
Open category 277 Rated chess players and in Girls category 91 fide rated players were participated and made the events so stronger.
