Karnataka’s young chess talent achieves a remarkable clean sweep in Malaysia
The Karnataka State Chess Association (KSCA) proudly congratulates Mitul KH on his outstanding achievement at the Commonwealth Schools Chess Championship 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from October 6 to 11, 2026.
Competing in the Open Under-17 category, Mitul delivered an exceptional performance, winning three individual Gold Medals across all three formats:

🥇 Gold – Rapid Chess
🥇 Gold – Blitz Chess
With this remarkable clean sweep, Mitul KH emerged as the individual triple gold medallist in the Open Under-17 category, bringing great pride to Karnataka and India.
