Bengaluru Girls Shine at U-12 Girls Commonwealth Chess Championship at Melaka, Malaysia.

Bengaluru girls Pratitee Bordoloi, Aadya Gowda, and Aadya Ranganath made the city proud by winning the top three prizes at the recently concluded Commonwealth Chess Championship in the Under-12 Girls category at Melaka, Malaysia, on February 27th. Pratitee won the gold, scoring 7.5 out of 9 points, while Aadya G won the silver and Aadya R won the bronze medal with a score of 7 points each. Incidentally, they had won the top three prizes in the same order at the 35th National U9 Chess Championship, making them eligible to participate in the Commonwealth Chess Championship.

Pratitee is a student of Shishya BEML Public School, Aadya Gowda of The Cambridge International School, Varthur and Aadya Ranganath studies at Vidya Niketan School, Hebbal.
