Bangaloreans, rejoice! Innovators Chess Academy will be organizing a Chess fest from December 21st to 31st, 2007 at the State Youth Centre, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore. The fest is mainly intended for beginners and inter-mediate players and will be held daily from 2p.m. to 6 p.m..
Here is what is the program:
You will be taught various Openings and Endings during the Coaching Class which will go on for the first two hours. Middle game problems will also be given. In the next two hours, you will go through a problem solving competition and a tournament as well. All the participants will be given certificates - specially designed by me. My plan is to have the participants' photos embossed as the background of the the respective certificates. The Entry Fee for the Chess fest is Rs 1,000/-. Durgesh and myself would be in charge of the fest. Do note that there will be different sections - eg; (For Beginners and Inter-mediate Players) Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Above 16 (Open). Those of you who are interested in participating in the Chess fest may report to the State Youth Centre on 21-DEC-2007 at 12.30 in the afternoon. Warm Regards Sushruta Reddy
