| Bangalore District Under 15 Boys Championship |
| T.Balakishan Bagged the first place with 5 points out of 5 Rounds in the Under 15 boys section. Second place went to Naren N. Kumar who lost only one game with the champion. Under 9 player Arjun Bharath also scored 4 points but placed third based on the tie break and Vetrivel Natarajan got the fourth place. |

| Bangalore District Under 15 Girls Championship |
Jahnavi S. became the Under 15 District Champion by scoring 3.5 Points out of 4 rounds. Prerana who also scored 3.5 Points but place second based on tie break. Priyanka S.Bharadwaj who was leading till the final round got third place with 3 points. Meghana Belavadi was placed fourth.

The United Karnataka Chess Association was formed in February 2006 with the aim of developing chess talent in Karnataka and giving the top talent in the state a chance to improve and compete at a national and international level. The UKCA has been granted affiliation to the AICF (All India Chess Federation) and is the authorized body in the state of Karnataka to conduct state level selections and championships.
Our mission is to bring the districts in Karnataka together and we have already achieved significant progress towards this goal. |
