Bangalore District Under 13 Boys and Girls Championship
Augustin A became the District Under 13 Champion by scoring 5.5 Points. Vigram M. also got 5.5 Points but Augustin was placed first with a better tie break. Goutham S. had a come back with a clean win in all his final three games and scored 4.5 Points to get the third place and Arjun Bharath got fourth place with 4.0 Points. Sharanya V, Priyanka S.Bharadwaj, Priyadarshini M all scored 3 points, but were placed accordingly, based on the progressive scores. Click here for the standings.



The United Karnataka Chess Association was formed in February 2006 with the aim of developing chess talent in Karnataka and giving the top talent in the state a chance to improve and compete at a national and international level. The UKCA has been granted affiliation to the AICF (All India Chess Federation) and is the authorized body in the state of Karnataka to conduct state level selections and championships. Our mission is to bring the districts in Karnataka together and we have already achieved significant progress towards this goal.
